چکیده

Purpose: Ultraviolet (UV) irradiation causes extrinsic aging of human skin. It is believed that UV caused phenomena such as skin erythema, wrinkle formation, and elasticity reduction. Methods: The effect Sargassum patens extract on COL1A1 MMP1 production in normal dermal fibroblasts was investigated a potential cosmetic raw material. Results: In this study, I assessed how affected COL1A1/COL3A1/MMP1/SODs/Catalase mRNA expression protein Collagen, type MMP1. Quantitative real-time reverse transcription–polymerase chain reaction demonstrated the increased levels COL1A1/COL3A1/SOD2/CAT genes. Additionally, when compared to UVA-treated fibroblasts, collagen extract-treated conditions. Furthermore, secreted were reduced by treatment. According these findings, antiaging antioxidative effects fibroblasts. Conclusion: Therefore, identified extract, findings indicated could be pharmaceutical ingredient for antiaging. Based this, expected conduct additional research cellular mechanisms.

Matrix metalloproteinase-1 inhibitory activities of Morinda citrifolia seed extract and its constituents in UVA-irradiated human dermal fibroblasts.

The objective of this study was to examine whether a 50% ethanolic extract (MCS-ext) of the seeds of Morinda citrifolia (noni) and its constituents have matrix metalloproteinase-1 (MMP-1) inhibitory activity in UVA-irradiated normal human dermal fibroblasts (NHDFs). The MCS-ext (10 μg/mL) inhibited MMP-1 secretion from UVA-irradiated NHDFs, without cytotoxic effects, at 48 h after UV exposure. ...

Platelet-Rich Fibrin Lysate Can Ameliorate Dysfunction of Chronically UVA-Irradiated Human Dermal Fibroblasts

To determine whether platelet-rich fibrin lysate (PRF-L) could restore the function of chronically ultraviolet-A (UVA)-irradiated human dermal fibroblasts (HDFs), we isolated and sub-cultured HDFs from six different human foreskins. HDFs were divided into two groups: those that received chronic UVA irradiation (total dosages of 10 J cm⁻²) and those that were not irradiated. We compared the prol...

Anti-Skin Aging Effect of Syriacusins from Hibiscus Syriacus on Ultraviolet-Irradiated Human Dermal Fibroblast Cells

Photosensitized peroxidation of membrane lipids has been implicated in skin pathologies such as phototoxicity and premature aging. We have previously reported that syriacusin compounds isolated from Hibiscus Syriacus inhibited lipid peroxidation. Here, we investigated whether syriacusins could be effective inhibitor to skin aging using ultraviolet-irradiated human dermal fibroblast cells (HDFCs...

Effect of UVA Fluence Rate on Indicators of Oxidative Stress in Human Dermal Fibroblasts

During the course of a day human skin is exposed to solar UV radiation that fluctuates in fluence rate within the UVA (290-315 nm) and UVB (315-400 nm) spectrum. Variables affecting the fluence rate reaching skin cells include differences in UVA and UVB penetrating ability, presence or absence of sunscreens, atmospheric conditions, and season and geographical location where the exposure occurs....

Anti-Photoaging Effects of Angelica acutiloba Root Ethanol Extract in Human Dermal Fibroblasts

The effects that ultraviolet rays elicit on collagen synthesis and degradation are the most common causes of wrinkle formation and photo-aging in skin. The objectives of this study were to evaluate the effects of Angelica acutiloba root ethanol extract (AAEE) to promote collagen synthesis and inhibit collagen degradation in human dermal fibroblasts. By examining total polyphenol and flavonoid c...
